In full-year 2023, American Honda USA sales increased by a third with Acura sales up by 42% — the CR-V and Civic were the top-selling models in the US.

2023 (January to December): American Honda increased US sales by 33% to 1.3 million vehicles. Honda brand sales were up 31.9% to 1,162,531 vehicles while Acura sales increased by a stronger 42% in 2023 to 145,655 vehicles compared to 2022. Honda electrified models set an all-time sales record with CR-V and Accord hybrids combining for 293,640 units – representing over one-quarter of total Honda brand sales. CR-V sales in 2023 of 361,457 vehicles strengthened its position as Americaโs best-selling crossover of the past 25 years. In contrast to many other carmakers, Honda had strong passenger car sales in the USA with Civic (200,381) and Accord (197,947) sales combined for nearly 400,000 units in 2023.
